We have conducted the career guidance event on 15-Oct-2016 on the occasion of Dr. APJ ABDUL KALAM Sir birth day, at 8 Govt ZPHS High Schools (BEJGOAN, JALIGOAN, AHMEDIPUR, SINGATAM, PIDCHED, RIMMANAGUDA, KODAKANDALA, BURUGUPALLY) from GAJWEL Mandal, SIDDIPET District for 10th class students with the support from WHAT CLUB (
http://whatclub.org/), NIRMAAN ORGANIZATION (
http://nirmaan.org/), VIDYA HELPLINE (
http://www.vidyahelpline.org/), LIONS CLUB OF SNEHA GAJWEL (
www.lionsclubs.org) and PYRAMID MEDITATION CENTER GAJWEL. As part of the event the volunteers have given a presentation with information on the educational opportunities, different career options, available scholarship details, available Institutions, Colleges, Universities, welfare hostels by conducting few motivational sessions. The volunteers have split into four groups and each group handled two schools (One on morning session and the other on afternoon session). At the end of each school event, distributed 80 pages booklet consisting of career guidance information (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eX9bIxqflIA), a note book and a pen to each student.
