BSG-GC-Y2014-CGE-01-DT01FEB: ZPHS Madoor, Shankarampet Mandal, Medak District

I started from Kachiguda railway station at 7:30 AM along with ZPHS Madoor HM (D. Nagendar Reddy Sir). We reached the school at 9:50 AM. Then the HM has introduced me to all school teachers & I have explained the motto of BSG and about the event. Teachers have gathered 10th class students at a place by 10:30 AM and allowed me to start the event with a small introduction about me & the BORN TO SERVE GROUP.
 I have explained the students about the career opportunities available after 10th class, courses details, colleges & universities related details by showing consolidated chart in a banner. The first hour went for explaining those details. Next hour as per plan, initially thought of conducting test, but instead of conducting test, I felt that it is better to

 give some counseling to students since they lagging in questioning, listening, not able to express their queries etc. The counseling went another one hour. Then I have closed the event by thanking all teachers. After the event I have distributed the career charts to each student and handed over 10 'NIRMAAN SAMACHARA DEEPIKA' books to keep them as library materiel for students future reference.
Teachers and students were quite impressed with the event and thanked me for providing valuable information. During lunch break, few students met me for getting answers to their queries. With this event I have successfully completed BSG 2014 year's first career guidance event.
